the exhibition is alive and  will change everyday
it will comments current affairs
 
Burning  to express about what is  going the  08/09 
come  to the ER with an art work about the 08/09 ( fresh materiel )
at 1.30 pm o
a precise time for 2 reasons

-  people can only make revolution if they have the same time on their watch
-we can organize the space and show each other the art work of that day 

don' t bring any  archive work
come  only with  a work comenting  that day  the 8 th of September
or latest the tv news from the night before  ( the 7th.)

following days  

The exhibition will we change  then every  open day of the gallery  (closed sunday and monday unfortunatly))
the saturday 9th . the work from the 8 th will be removed to give place to the work of the 9 th at 1.30 pm  precise

the passage ( changement of exhibition is every time at 1.30 )

Every thing  will be  documented as
1) photos
2) film
3) writting  ( Kai Hoelzner will write a diary on the project ) .

Frequent news letters will be also send ( if you have people that should get the news letter please send  me their e mail )
You should come as many time ( days ) you want to express there is actually something to comment  every day .
It is also good to follow one story day after day .

Please - use the ER  to develop experimental project and search  for new forms and  change working methods .

The  public  will know about the  difficult  conditions you are be working with. The public will be also  be grateful to have a chance to get artist vieuws on the news and not only journalist or politicians vieuws on that day

the medias/ the subject / the thema

The medias are a good source of inspiration but if the pizzeria down your street has been burned last night, please focus on that
case .   ( I mean information don ' t have to come only from  media's )

the themas should be what piss you , what offended you the most , what you discover disfonctioning , what made you sceptical ,
what make you care about .....

You are  visual artist and shoud  have very sharp comment .the best is to target a subject  as  precisely as  as possible

Rooms / Spaces

Olaf Stueber has different  rooms  so installation are also welcome
If one day nobody comes to exhibit it is also a statement , a statement of emptyness .
If one day  6 artist comes at 1.30  it is also  interesting , so we can share conversations and maybe become a communauty of opinion
 do a piece of work together .

A room is a room , some artist can work in the street , on the web , .... but the experience from the room is unic
Not everyone is a media high jacker or a web artist that the reason to do ER .

Emergency artist access

As I won'  t be there all the time it is important your name is registered and you have send me a portrait photo or pass photo
so the day you come  to exhibit you have access  .
there will be an acess system also in the  ER  New York in 2007.

the form

All kind of form can appear
News paper  as matiere premiere , recut from the tv news , sound installation ,
but also smells , reconstruction  with acteurs  ..... new form are still to be created

Olaf Stueber

Olaf Stueber is the galerist,  he can help you in a reasonnable way  but he has a lot of work beside the ER
so don t ask him too much .
I unfortunatly did not get  financing to be able to stay  in Berlin  to assist artists 
if you know volonteer please inform me

Busy

strange
in 2006 artist are very  busy
they have projects monthes in advances , years in advance  , they are busy .
the project is a comment about that 
this project is exactly to give some space of  action in the middle of the busyness
some space to integrate new elements
while artist are busy -  politicians are  voting  law in the parlement .
I personnally think that the word busy is more of a handicap than something to be happy about
it is important to keep 10 % for fast move
never close a possibility to complain

performance  // special project

it is possible to do one day a performance and gather ann audience fast
the best is that if we are inform 3 hours before .....

not another group shpow

this project  is not another group show it aims to be a movements
a protesting communauty looking for new form

the real ambition

have an Emergency Room  space that does not close in Berlin
but also in other towns
